There have been a few iterations of the studio in Langland.The first was Glanmor Studio below.

Glanmor Studio, Langland

At the very start there was Glanmor Studio in Langland – from 1983 to 1988.

Barn Door Studio, Mumbles

In 1989 I bought my first house in Park Avenue in Mumbles – this became Barn Door Studio. I just don’t seem to actually have any photos of the studio setup. I was there from 1989 to 1995.

Studio 29, Newton

From 1995 to 2001 there was Studio 29 in Newton. This was built in the attic of our house there. By this point I had moved from 8-track tape to the early versions of Soundscape DAW.

Mixen Studio, Newton

From 2004 to 2012 there was Mixen Studio in Newton.

The Wallburys, Bishops Stortford

I relocated to England for 7 years, including the studio from 2013 to 2020.

Hoplaco, Fuertaventura

At the start of the COVID lockdown I moved out the the Canary Islands for 2 years from 2020 to 2022. Being somewhat nomadic and living in very small apartments, my studio existed only as a mac laptop with a few pieces of gear – a guitar, Apollo Twin interface and a couple of microphones. It was compact, but good quality and it worked well.

Mixens, Newton

Since 2022 I’ve been back in Newton with a new studio build taking over a good chunk of my house 🙂
